Admin Feedback

It would be AMAZING if you guys also had a platform for vocabulary! Quill writing has been EXACTLY what we needed to help better meet the needs of the diverse learners at our school. Ever since we have discovered the Quill platform, we have been saying "We need a "Quill' for vocabulary!" and I have been searching and searching but have not found an interactive, differentiated product that really meets our needs and/or that we can afford. You guys are so good at checking ALL of the boxes for what we had been looking for in terms of an interactive writing support! We wish you had a vocab platform as well!

After students practice a skill on a Quill activity, it would be great to include space for pre-writing or sentence composition utilizing that skill. This is something I currently do using another platform (e.g. finish Quill activity on semicolons, go to LMS and write 2 sentences about a provided topic using semicolons.) It would be great if this reinforcement practice was directly on the Quill platform to avoid students switching between programs, or losing momentum.

Can the new Usage Snapshot report show "average activities completed by student" AND "activities completed total" data on the Schools tab? (Not just the total number of activities completed, as it does now).

A report that can be used in SST/IEP meetings that summarizes a students results from a diagnostic and all the lessons they have completed. Most programs give you some type of individual student report that can be shared with school staff and/or parents.

It would be interesting for admin to subscribe to multiple types of Usage Snapshot reports using specific filters (e.g. one for each grade level to better track usage)

Please allow admins to define their academic year (sometimes called a school year). This would make the "This school year" and "Last school year" timeframes on the admin reports more useful.

My students really struggle with these things AND with quotation marks. And commas! More punctuation activities would be VERY helpful; more sophisticated punctuation practice would be particularly helpful!

Other programs we use allow an admin to assign an activity to groups of students on behalf of teachers - to help streamline the process. We would like the ability to do this on Quill, particularly with the diagnostics (and recommended practice). E.g. use filters (school / teachers / classrooms) to assign the ELL Starter Baseline Diagnostic at the start of the year to groups of students so no one is missed if the teacher does not follow through with assignment steps in a timely fashion. This will allow for students to be on track with recommended practice, and for the resulting growth data to be accurate and cover all students.
